About the Role
Kimberly-Clark is seeking a talented Packaging Engineer Co-op to join our team. As a Packaging Engineer Co-op, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of packaging materials and designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and re-engineering of primary and secondary package structures
- Utilize packaging related software to complete packaging development work
- Knowledge of packaging materials and their relation to absorption & reflectance
- Ability to interpret and write packaging & material specifications
- Read, execute & write laboratory Standard Test Procedures and record associated data
- Possess mechanical skills for laboratory test equipment construction
- Accept guidance & direction from senior Packaging Engineers
Requirements
- Students who have completed 2 years toward a BS/BA in Packaging, Materials Science, Engineering or a related discipline are eligible to apply
- GPA: 3.0 cumulative or higher
- Completion of 1-1/2 years of college courses
- Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis
