Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer who embodies our core values and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our HVAC clientele. This role involves close collaboration with our dispatch team and service manager, ensuring client satisfaction and efficient execution of service calls. The HVAC Installer will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of each service call, aiming for a stellar service experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems in residential and light commercial environments, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units.
- Prepare all necessary materials, tools, and equipment for the installation process.
- Interpret HVAC system blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accurate installations.
- Assemble and set up HVAC equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Fabricate and install ductwork to ensure optimal airflow and system efficiency.
- Connect electrical components, thermostats, and control systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Conduct inspections of installed systems to verify compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Perform operational tests on HVAC systems to confirm efficiency and performance.
- Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of their newly installed HVAC systems.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Stay informed about industry advancements to enhance installation techniques.
- Provide outstanding customer service and foster positive relationships with clients.
- Encourage customer participation in our Total Home Care Club.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service vehicles.
- Be available for rotating schedules, including weekends and on-call duties.
- Undertake additional tasks as required to meet company expectations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited HVAC program or relevant certifications.
- EPA 608 certification preferred but required during employment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
