Restaurant Operations Manager

The Assistant Manager for Fin & Tonic will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining company standards and adhering to Health Department regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of restaurant operations.
2. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to develop and implement menus, manage inventory, and maintain high-quality food presentation.
3. Ensure the dining room, service areas, and bathrooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, adhering to company and Health Department regulations.
4. Conduct weekly bar inventory and provide recommendations for ordering products to maintain optimal stock levels.
5. Assist in weekly grassroots marketing efforts to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
6. Provide exceptional support to service staff during dining periods, ensuring a 5-star experience for all guests.
7. Conduct final service staff close-out reports to ensure accurate records and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
1. Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success in a restaurant management role.
2. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
3. An outgoing personality and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
4. 2+ years of management experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort setting.
5. Fundamental understanding of P&L statements and budgeting, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
6. Strong understanding of inventory recording practices and the ability to maintain accurate records.
7. Familiarity with TOAST point-of-sale systems and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
8. Fundamental knowledge of wine to assist servers during dining periods.
