Position Summary:
We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Culinary Production Supervisor to manage our kitchen and baking operations. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the consistent production of high-quality culinary and baked goods. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, contributing to the elevation and maintenance of our culinary standards. This position will report directly to the General Manager of the Commissary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee kitchen and baking team members while coordinating food preparation tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation regulations as mandated by health authorities.
  • Manage inventory and oversee the procurement of necessary supplies.
  • Train and mentor kitchen and baking staff.
  • Uphold quality standards in food preparation and presentation, collaborating closely with team members.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and arrange for maintenance as required.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Food Service Manager with a history of successful outcomes.
  • Strong culinary and baking expertise with knowledge of various cooking and baking techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and coaching abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management and oversight.
  • Capability to develop and implement process improvement strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food service management.
  • Strong leadership qualities with an emphasis on team development.
  • Expertise in kitchen and bakery management as well as food preparation.
  • Experience in inventory management and oversight.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with Aloha and Micros POS systems.

Note: This position does not adhere to a fixed schedule; shifts and workdays (including weekends) will vary based on operational needs.
