Job Overview

  • Oversee inventory control and ordering of supplies.
  • Train and develop kitchen/baking team members.
  • Maintain quality standards for food preparation, presentation, and work side by side with staff.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and schedule maintenance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years food service/production management experience.
  • Proven experience as a Food Service Manager with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Strong culinary and/or baking skills and understanding of various cooking and/or baking methods.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management and control.
  • Ability to develop and implement process improvement policies.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management.
  • Proficiency in kitchen and/or bakery management and food preparation.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Knowledge of Aloha and Micros POS systems.

This position does not follow a set schedule. Hours consist of working 6:00am-4:00pm, 12:00pm-10:00pm, and/or 9:00pm-7:00am; it is necessary to be available outside of the expected hours.

Hours are subject to change at the Commissary Manager's and/or Urth Caffe's discretion. Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and holidays.
