Facilities Maintenance Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with computer-controlled equipment and Building Management Systems. A valid state driver's license and universal CFC EPA certification are also required. In addition, the candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortable using up to 30 foot ladders.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Inspect and repair equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce energy consumption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices.
- Administer the Critical Facility Change Request notifications and Critical Facility Incident Reporting processes to Data Center Management standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; trade school education or equivalent experience preferred.
- Three (3)+ years of hands-on work critical infrastructure building operating work experience; one (1)+ years of experience in UPS systems, emergency generators, switch-gear & chiller plants equipment experience.
- Universal CFC EPA certification; experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS).
- Valid state driver's license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortable using up to 30 foot ladders.
- Able to perform all work using proper personnel protective equipment (PPE); adhere, in strict accordance, to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and practices.
- Demonstrate aptitude for and/or have practical experience with thermodynamic, electrical, and/or mechanical systems, as well as computer-controlled equipment.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $58,600 - 70,000+ based on location and experience.
