Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will:

  • Provide management oversight for field operations, ensuring high-quality work characterized by accuracy and clarity.
  • Meet project schedules and budgets while delivering responsive service to clients.
  • Supervise the operation of surveying and subsurface utility engineering equipment, including total stations, GPS, data collectors, and ground penetrating radar.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, project teams, and the public.
  • Represent Catapult in a professional manner, adhering to ethical standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a drug screening.
  • Dependable and physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in subsurface utility engineering.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work outside regular hours, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
  • Strong understanding of subsurface utility engineering principles and equipment.
  • Completion of an Advanced Utility Locator Training Course is preferred within the first six months of employment.
  • Commitment to values such as Trust, Respect, Excellence, and Accountability.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and navigating challenging terrains while operating land surveying equipment.
