Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Aide to join our team at City Choice Home Health Care of Florida. As a Certified Nursing Aide, you will provide supportive and personal services for patients in the comfort of their own homes, with consideration of dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene to home health patients
  • Assist with bathing, oral care, and dressing
  • Perform and record accurate measurements, such as vital signs and intake/output
  • Observe and report any safety hazards or significant observations regarding the patient
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in orientation of new employees
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
  • Perform delegated tasks, such as non-invasive and non-sterile treatments, collection and documentation of vital signs, and personal hygiene and elimination
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Aide in the State of Florida
  • Graduate of an accredited High School or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow directions
  • At least 18 years of age and demonstrated competency
  • Trained in first aid
  • Minimum of one year full-time experience in direct patient care in an institutional setting or one year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in an agency setting
  • Effective for services furnished after August 14, 1990, a person who has successfully completed a State-established or other training program that meets the requirements of §484.36(a) and a competency evaluation program or State licensure program that meets the requirements of §484.36 (b) or (e)
