About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Hospice team in providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes. As a Hospice Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and quality of life for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, provide personal care, comfort, and maintain a safe and clean environment for assigned patients.
  • Provide and maintain bodily and emotional comfort to Hospice patients and families, and educate and assist them in maintaining independent living in a safe environment.
  • Pledge to prioritize patient comfort and care, and consistently provide personalized, sincere, and engaging service to patients and families.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
  • Preferred six months experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work comfortably with professionals and volunteers, and maintain confidentiality in reference to patients, families, and staff.
  • Valid Florida driver's license, ability to drive, reliable car, good driving record, automobile insurance, and basic knowledge of the county territory.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Bilingual preferred.
