Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Aide to join our team at City Choice Home Health Care of Florida. As a Certified Nursing Aide, you will provide supportive and personal services for patients in the comfort of their own homes, with consideration of dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene to home health patients, including bathing, oral care, and dressing.
  • Assist with vital sign measurements, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
  • Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Report patient complaints to the RN and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Perform delegated tasks, such as non-invasive and non-sterile treatments, collection and documentation of vital signs, and personal hygiene and elimination.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with the State of Florida and a current certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited High School or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
  • At least 18 years of age and demonstrated competency.
  • Trained in first aid.
  • A minimum of one year full-time experience in direct patient care in an institutional setting or one year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in an agency setting.

  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities to enable the employee to communicate effectively.

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to enable the employee to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other related equipment.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to enable the employee to safely lift, move, or maneuver whatever may be necessary to successfully perform the duties of their position.
