Enrollment and Customer Relations Officer

VFS Global, a leading provider of outsourcing and technology services for governmental and diplomatic entities globally, is seeking an Enrollment and Customer Relations Officer for our Visa Application Center. This center will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, managing visa application submissions, and gathering biometric data on behalf of various Schengen nations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist visa applicants in completing their applications and processing required documentation according to diverse visa regulations from multiple foreign governments.
  • Collect biometric data (fingerprints and photographs) for Schengen nations, utilizing various biometric systems.
  • Operate efficiently under strict deadlines while managing a high volume of clientele.
  • Handle application processing and data entry using specialized VFS software, including the digitization of necessary documents.
  • Ensure daily dispatch of documents to foreign governmental offices.
  • Scan and upload documentation as required.
  • Resolve IT-related issues with support from the remote IT Service Desk when necessary.
  • Monitor and track passports throughout the application process.
  • Address customer inquiries in person, via email, and over the phone.
  • Manage fee collection and cash transactions.
  • This list is not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may arise based on business needs.
  • Report directly to the Deputy Manager of the Visa Application Center.
  • Must be capable of physically transporting daily applications to local consulates.
  • Essential skills include providing excellent customer service to a large number of clients, high-speed and accurate data entry, and familiarity with various software applications. An interest in international travel and visa procedures is advantageous, along with a commitment to detail and a desire for internal career advancement within a large international organization.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient command of English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial but not required.
  • Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, if necessary, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
  • Potential travel opportunities within the country.
