Role Overview

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the embedded 5G/4G/multimode cellular firmware initiatives within a silicon design group, focusing on the creation and commercialization of groundbreaking cellular SoCs. We seek an individual who is adept in all facets of embedded software development, thrives in a dynamic, multi-functional environment, and is open to constructive discussions while adapting to evolving requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement RF device drivers and software to manage RF transceivers and front-end components with precise timing specifications.
  • Develop and optimize cellular modem processing algorithms related to Baseband and RF components within cellular systems.
  • Collaborate with Baseband and RF system designers to establish hardware architecture and software computing needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage dependencies while driving essential Radio features.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile communication standards, including 4G/5G 3GPP protocols, radio architecture, and interfaces.
  • Experience with RF transceiver and front-end component control for 4G/5G radios.
  • Familiarity with RF calibration techniques to mitigate RF impairments.
  • Understanding of design principles to meet stringent real-time deadlines is advantageous.
  • Proficient in software engineering principles and core computer science fundamentals.
  • Expertise in embedded C/C++ programming, along with experience using compilers, build systems, and source code management tools.
  • Experience with RF testing equipment for validation and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in debugging embedded software systems, with familiarity in JTAG.
