We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse 2 to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our infusion center and medical ambulatory clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients, including assessing and planning, implementing and evaluating total patient care.
- Coordinate patient and family teachings, ensuring all aspects of performance are in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and provide a safe environment when rendering care.
- Assure compliance with all clinical safety standards and promote professional practice models that encourage staff collaboration and committee participation.
- Bachelor of Science in nursing required.
- Florida Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) from AHA.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) from AHA.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in infusions, emergency or critical care nursing.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Excellent patient experience skills.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
