Job Summary

This entry-level position involves operating a 5-axis laser cutting machine. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of loading parts and operating the machine, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load parts accurately onto laser cutting nests for operation
  • Operate the 5-axis laser cutting machine with precision and attention to detail
  • Read and interpret blueprints and G.D. & T. specifications
  • Lift up to 25 lbs., with assistance available for heavier loads
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards
  • Perform quality control checks on finished parts
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably with laser cutting equipment
  • Working knowledge of Mitsubishi 5-Axis Laser and Cenit laser software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
