Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Relationship Banker to join our team at HarborOne Bank. As a key member of our branch operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building strong relationships, and driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Provide personalized service to customers, exceeding their expectations and building trust and loyalty.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on all branch products and services, operational systems, and applications/technologies.
    • Continuously educate and engage customers on additional financial solutions, promoting and driving high customer service standards.
  • Profitable Relationships
    • Independently facilitate and handle complex conversations on all business needs, guiding customers to improve their overall financial well-being.
    • Open new accounts and perform transactions as needed, acquiring low-cost core relationships in consumer and business categories.
    • Achieve success in all goal categories as assigned, consistently meeting individual performance goals and contributing to team objectives.
  • Branch Operations
    • Provide support as needed to conduct reconciliation in-branch with Branch Settlement, Debit Cards, ATM, and Recyclers.
    • Process all transactions, including basic teller processing, new account opening, loan origination and closings, general maintenance, and cross-business referrals.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of retail banking or retail experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Ability to tailor features and benefits of solutions to customers with varying financial needs.
  • Possesses outgoing, team-oriented personality with outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and exudes confidence with customers while presenting solutions.
  • Strong ability to educate and connect customers to alternative channels by leveraging technology.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Ability to maintain composure and resolve customer complaints and requests independently under high-pressure situations.
