Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design and implementation team, you will play a crucial role in the design and installation of electrical systems for our commercial, multifamily, and hospitality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Installation: Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure electrical systems are integrated effectively.
  • Design Development: Prepare detailed electrical designs, including specifications and plans.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during the construction phase.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national codes and standards.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Plan Review: Review and approve electrical plans, specifications, and submittals.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise during the construction process.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) is required.
