Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at US Derm Support Roles. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Greet patients, check them in for appointments, and verify insurance information.
  • Scan documents into the electronic health record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information.
  • Ensure the waiting area and reception counter are tidy and well-maintained throughout the day.
  • Check schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Order clinic office supplies, sell and track cosmetic products, and distribute mail.
  • Prepare for next-day scheduled appointments, ensuring all necessary materials and information are ready.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback and direction from supervisors.
  • Professional appearance and manner at all times, with a friendly, cheerful, tactful, and polite demeanor.
