LPN/RN Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled LPN/RN to join our team at The Village at Victory Lakes, a vibrant senior living community in Lindenhurst, Illinois. As an LPN/RN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the activities of our Nursing Assistants to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
  • Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
  • Keep physician and/or other health care professionals informed of changes in resident conditions.
  • Supervise Nursing Assistants and may supervise other nurses.
  • Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN/RN program.
  • Current RN or LPN license in Illinois.
  • Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population.
