We are seeking a skilled LPN/RN to join our team at The Village at Victory Lakes, a vibrant senior living community located in Lindenhurst, Illinois.
Job Summary:The LPN/RN will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants, and maintain a high degree of quality care. The ideal candidate will have recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
- Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
- Keep physician and/or other health care professionals informed of change in resident conditions.
- Supervise Nursing Assistants, may supervise other nurses.
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/RN program.
- Current RN or LPN license in Illinois.
- Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
- Must enjoy working with the senior population.
