Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our team at Wilkins RV. As a key member of our body shop, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage and develop a repair plan.
  • Repair damaged body parts using specialized tools and techniques, including welding, dent removal, and panel replacement.
  • Ensure the vehicle's frame or structure is properly aligned using computer measuring or mechanical measuring systems and hydraulic equipment.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by masking, sanding, filling, and priming.
  • Color match existing paint and apply a high-quality finish.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and labor hours.
  • Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Efficiently manage time to complete repairs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other team members to streamline the repair process and avoid delays.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns and keeping them informed about the progress of their repairs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 1-3 months of related experience, either through education or on-the-job training.
  • Boat fiberglass repair experience is acceptable.
