Maintenance Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical problems on equipment.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility mechanical components and electrical systems.
- Perform machine repair and general preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with preventative maintenance programs.
- Provide support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain all paperwork to document repair and preventative maintenance work completed.
- Working with chemicals and maintaining Hazardous Waste manifests.
- Comply with SOP's (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies.
- You'll learn about safety protocols and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of yourself and others in the workplace.
- Being a key player or owner of some site safety programs.
- You'll become skilled at diagnosing problems when equipment or systems malfunction. This often involves understanding how different components work together and using diagnostic tools to identify issues.
- You'll learn how to perform repairs and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in good working order. This might involve tasks like replacing parts, calibrating equipment, or conducting routine inspections.
- Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- 2+ years experience working in pumps, motors, valve, and actuator operation.
- 2+ years experience working in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- 2+ years experience reading and interpreting blueprints and complex schematics.
- 2+ years experience working with Maintenance Management System (Enfor Preferred).
- 2+ years experience working with common office technology including MS office suite.
- 2+ years experience ensuring OSHA regulations and standards for Safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation.
