Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within a well-established company. As a new associate, you will participate in a custom interactive program that includes hands-on and computer-based training lasting approximately sixteen (16) weeks.

Key Training Areas Include:

General Training & Comprehension
  • Learn and perform the duties of housekeeping, heavy housekeeping/floor tech, and laundry worker positions, including the operation of various industrial cleaning equipment.
Leadership Development
  • Assist in training, quality control, and servicing of staff in accordance with policies and federal/state regulations.
Policies & Procedures
  • Learn to provide leadership and support to ensure quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are consistently met.
Reporting
  • Train in maintaining records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in a report format for HCSG and facility management.
Training
  • Responsible for training and quality control to meet HCSG standards, including regular assessments of work quality.
Leadership
  • Learn to manage responsibilities such as payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, purchasing, inventory maintenance, and budgeting.
Communication
Effectively relay directives from client managers and administrators to HCSG staff.
Safety
Utilize protective gear and adhere to safety protocols while ensuring a sanitary environment.
Punctuality
Maintain consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Customer Experience
Represent HCSG positively by being courteous and cooperative with all stakeholders.
Resident Experience
Engage in positive interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to follow instructions while performing routine tasks. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills are necessary for record-keeping and reporting.
Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and perform tasks that require standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory.
