Core Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, adhering to your licensed scope of practice.

  • Assist in patient assessments and promote their overall well-being
  • Administer medications and observe patients for any adverse effects
  • Perform laboratory tests and provide therapeutic services
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, holistic health, available resources, and follow-up care
Qualifications:

Licensure/Certification:

  • BLS Provider certification required within one month of hire
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing required prior to employment

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or one year of relevant job-specific experience
