Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in achieving optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and self-care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective care plans.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure or certification in the state of VA.
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
