Job Title: Culturally Specific Recovery Navigator Peer

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Culturally Specific Recovery Navigator Peer to join our team at Holistic Healing Behavioral Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing peer recovery support services to clients who are involved with the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) Child Welfare system and may be experiencing addiction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide peer recovery support services to clients, including facilitating access to substance use disorder treatment, resources, and community recovery groups.

  • Act as a liaison between clients, ODHS, and other agencies to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.

  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, providing support and guidance throughout their recovery journey.

  • Collaborate with the Holistic Healing Behavioral Healthcare clinical team to implement evidence-based services and ensure client engagement with treatment plans.

  • Address barriers to successful recovery and serve as a role model and advocate for clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with clients who have substance use disorders and a strong understanding of the recovery process.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services.

  • Knowledge of the BIPOC community culture and the ability to address the unique barriers to successful recovery that this population faces.
