The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Terminal Operations teams in their use of automation technologies, including RFID, OCR, and GPS solutions. Comprehensive training will be provided on the specific operational environment of the terminal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in continuous learning of operational and system processes.
  • Assist in the support and troubleshooting of various terminal applications.
  • Monitor and maintain terminal systems, including but not limited to OCR, GPS, and RFID technologies.
  • Support the Gate System Applications, including the Appointment System, and provide user training.
  • Investigate technical and process-related issues and escalate them to the appropriate vendors.
  • Ensure customer service levels are met and follow escalation protocols during system outages.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support to clients.
  • Participate in cross-training, knowledge transfer, and documentation of all processes and procedures.
  • Support and troubleshoot networking and server hardware.
  • Monitor and maintain terminal infrastructure hardware, including LTE and Wi-Fi environments, crane/gate/yard systems, and Closed Circuit Television Systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an information technology setting.
  • Experience in terminal operations and technology is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, compile, and analyze data.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective time management and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and safely.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Must qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Card and pass an internal background screening.
