Per Diem Behavioral Health Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Per Diem Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in Belmont, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Accurately and timely document patient information, including AFS, progress notes, and observation sheets.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Participate in patient rounds and teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Identify and de-escalate crisis situations using non-verbal and verbal techniques.
- Communicate patient status changes to the RN and follow established protocols and standards of care.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Prefer two years of college plus one year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in collaboration with others.
