Job Summary:

As a Hose Assembler in the Teknor Apex team, you will play a crucial role in assembling and securing fittings to hoses using our internal Expansion Machine. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and secure proper fittings to ends of hoses using the Expansion Machine.
  • Coil and attach labels with straps to the hose, then visually inspect the product before placing it on the takeaway belt or in cartons.
  • Cross-train to supply unassembled cartons to finishing tables, operate the computerized label printer, and perform required quality checks.
  • Maintain production records.
  • Perform finished goods visual quality inspection.

Requirements:
  • Ability to read and write, acquired through a high school education or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, squat, bend, twist, and turn as needed to perform the job.
  • Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Available Shifts:
  • 5 pm - 11 pm, Monday - Wednesday
  • 5 pm - 11 pm, Monday - Thursday
  • 11 pm - 5 am, Monday - Wednesday
  • 11 pm - 5 am, Monday - Thursday
