Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Business Administration program at Stevenson University. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to quality teaching and industry experience in management, finance, economics, or related areas.

Responsibilities
  • Teach face-to-face courses in the BS in Business Administration program offered by the Business Administration Department, Brown School of Business and Leadership.
  • Develop and teach courses in management, finance, economics, or related functional areas of business.
  • Engage in instructional activity totaling no more than 18 contact hours per academic year, with no more than 9 contact hours taught in an individual semester.
  • Prepare teaching materials, confer with students, and provide academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities.
  • Write syllabi, read and respond to emails, grade course work, and submit mid-term and final grades in a timely manner.
  • Complete training or professional development as required by the University.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Industry experience and a strong commitment to quality teaching.
  • College level teaching experience and a doctorate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields (preferred).

  • Industry knowledge and experience in management, finance, economics, or related areas.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment at Stevenson University. The position requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time and the ability to speak clearly and effectively for an extended period of time.
