About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a difference in the lives of New Yorkers. As a Mental Health Administrator, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing the administration aspects of our Mental Health Continuum program.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the administration aspects of the Mental Health Continuum program.
  • Provide support and direction for participating clinics.
  • Assist in the collection, organization, and input of various indicators and data collection for Child and Adolescent Programming.
  • Submit reports to DOHMH and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Attend meetings and transcribe meeting minutes and voice recordings for meetings as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for Associate Director and Assistant Director as needed.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling; and two years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment, one year of which included experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledgeable in Behavioral health services and policy, Behavioral health conditions and treatment modalities, and thorough knowledge of city systems and related services for children and families.

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 annually.
