Nurse - Medical Center - Care Unit

Unit Summary:
MelroseWakefield Hospital's Emergency Department is a Level III accredited Trauma Center and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The department features private exam, treatment, and observation rooms with space for family members to stay, a triage and fast-track area for efficient patient treatment, a modern imaging suite with CT scanners and X-ray capabilities, neurology and neurosurgery services for symptom evaluation and consultation, and an on-site cardiac catheterization lab for emergency cardiac care.
As a Registered Nurse, you will float between the two areas, providing care to patients in need. The department operates on a 32-hour workweek, with hours from 7p-3a, and every third weekend.
Qualifications:
- RN Massachusetts license required
- Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS
- 1-2 years experience preferred
