Job Title: Poker Dealer

We are seeking a skilled Poker Dealer to join our team at Seminole Gaming. As a Poker Dealer, you will be responsible for the operation and conduct of the assigned game in accordance with Gaming Procedure, internal controls, and the rules and procedures of poker.

Responsibilities:
  • Deal cards to players and shuffle as appropriate according to established rules and regulations.
  • Announce winning hand to players.
  • Ensure that correct "rake" are taken from the winning pot.
  • Verify beginning and ending chip and money balances and confirm supporting documentation.
  • Receive fills and distribute credits.
  • Ensure that wagers are placed before cards are dealt.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required and two (2) years poker dealing experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Gaming school certificate preferred.
  • Knowledge of Texas Hold 'em, No Limit Texas Hold 'em, Omaha, Seven-Card Stud, Pot Limit Omaha is a must.
  • Basic Poker Tournament policies and procedures knowledge required.
Work Environment:

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to the general public.

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
