Job Summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Plant Mechanic to join our team in Arizona. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our industrial plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the operation, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others at all times.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
  • Inspect equipment and structures daily to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
  • Monitor and review plant processes and materials to identify problems and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Document and record information related to plant equipment maintenance and operations.
  • Perform general physical activities to assist with plant operations, including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours, as well as work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Mechanical skills and knowledge of industrial tools and their maintenance.
