Key Responsibilities:

This role involves the repair, maintenance, and installation of various electrical systems. The technician will determine layouts and conduct testing of electrical configurations.

  • Interprets blueprints, installs conduits, and connects devices.
  • Reads and understands mechanical and electrical schematics and code specifications to establish wiring layouts.
  • Performs upgrades and preventive maintenance on electrical control systems.
  • Conducts tests, identifies issues, replaces damaged wiring sections, and organizes circuits.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory; trade or technical school coursework is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as an electrician apprentice.
  • Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
  • Possession of a Journeyman or Electrician license in accordance with state regulations.
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials relevant to the electrical trade.
  • Understanding of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of electrical applications for both high and low-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various electrical system components.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of products and tools related to the commercial construction industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
