This role entails the management and technical guidance concerning significant maintenance and/or capital enhancements to current facilities, as well as engineering oversight for the design and construction of new structures.

Key Responsibilities:

The Site/Facilities Engineer will undertake the following:

  • Continuous evaluation of CCM facilities (primarily focused on manufacturing and warehousing) from both an infrastructure and operational standpoint.
  • Creation of a comprehensive action plan to address immediate and future service needs essential for sustaining optimal operational functionality at each CCM site/facility. This plan will encompass cost estimates, scope descriptions, timelines, durations, required resources, and funding necessities.
  • Establishment and upkeep of a database for each site/facility that records pertinent information.
  • Monitoring and documentation of ongoing and completed projects specific to each site/facility.
  • Lead initiatives to prepare funding proposals related to major projects identified in the action plan.
  • Manage projects outlined in the action plan following the standard project management protocols set by the Engineering Department, including project scheduling, budget oversight, coordination meetings, communication, documentation, and project close-out.
  • Formulate a support team of CCM site and project-specific personnel as needed.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Core Competencies:

  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and basic compliance (OSHA, EPA, NPDES, etc.).
  • Knowledge of building codes along with local and county regulations.
  • Expertise in building systems, including HVAC, security, electrical, IT communications, plumbing, and piping.
  • Understanding of fire safety systems, including FM Global and NFPA standards.
  • Preferred skills in Autodesk AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
  • Expertise in Construction Management and Project Management.
  • Awareness of best practices in Manufacturing and Construction Safety & Environmental Health.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Management is preferred).

Equivalency: An Associate's Degree in a Technical Field with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in a technical or skilled trade related to this position (e.g., construction, manufacturing maintenance, etc.).

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or comparable technical field.
