Job SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner shall provide high-quality occupational health services and education to clients based on their medical and psychosocial needs. This role requires a strong understanding of occupational health policies and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provides quality occupational health care services to clients in accordance with generally accepted standards of professional practice and Mobile Health's policies.
- Reviews all medical histories of clients upon initial visit and thereafter as appropriate.
- Coordinates onsite medical care and onsite medical interventions as needed.
- Supports the team, including Medical Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
- Participates in Mobile Health's performance improvement program, which includes a planned and systematic process for monitoring and assessing the quality and appropriateness of patient care and clinical performance.
- Maintains accurate and timely submission of all clinical and professional records in the EMR to ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulatory, licensure, and accreditation requirements.
- Graduate of an accredited program as a registered nurse with a Master's degree.
- Established Collaborative Agreement.
- Experience using EMR/EHR.
- Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Nurse and Certified as an Adult, Family Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Education Department.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and customer service skills.
- Good computer literacy skills with the ability to process automated health records accurately.
- Must obtain a Medical Examiner Certification within 3 months of hire.
