About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to join our team at Capital One. As a Principal Associate, Instructional Design and Development, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative learning solutions that drive business results and enhance the associate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop curriculum, programs, and learning materials that meet industry design standards and align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in adult learning theory, cognitive science, and other evidence-based learning fields.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in learning and development.
  • Lead effective stakeholder and subject matter expert interviews to identify and curate relevant content for the end-learner.
  • Represent Learning in broader project efforts to ensure effective delivery and alignment with project timeline goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Instructional Design.
  • At least 4 years of experience with learning content development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Design Suite, and Camtasia).
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with UI/UX and graphic design, mobile content creation, and Adobe Creative Suite.
