Job Summary:

The Electronics Technician Maintenance Specialist II will provide maintenance and repair services for electronic systems at Fort Belvoir Bat. This role requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic issues. The successful candidate will have experience with electronic systems, avionics, and simulation systems. Additionally, they will be able to read and interpret technical manuals, apply handbook formulas, and utilize information obtained from technical manuals. The Electronics Technician Maintenance Specialist II will also be responsible for performing PMCS, troubleshooting, and isolating faults, as well as generating and addressing discrepancies observed during working hours. Furthermore, they will be able to monitor and track the repair status of inoperative equipment and document maintenance activities using the logistics management database system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair services for electronic systems at Fort Belvoir Bat.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic issues.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, apply handbook formulas, and utilize information obtained from technical manuals.
• Perform PMCS, troubleshoot, and isolate faults.
• Generate and address discrepancies observed during working hours.
• Monitor and track the repair status of inoperative equipment.
• Document maintenance activities using the logistics management database system.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of electronic systems, avionics, and simulation systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, apply handbook formulas, and utilize information obtained from technical manuals.
• Ability to perform PMCS, troubleshoot, and isolate faults.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent related training, maintenance, and operations of flight simulators.
• Experience with aviation and simulation systems preferred.
