Job Title: Residential Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Clinician to join our team at Wedgwood Christian Services. As a Residential Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic services to adolescents in our residential programs.

Job Summary:

The Residential Clinician will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as developing treatment plans for each client. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that each client receives comprehensive care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for each client
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide financial oversight to the program
  • Assist in the education, training, and evaluation of Developmental Care Specialists
  • Supervise the case-specific work of the client's Goal Worker
  • Work closely with the Home Supervisor to develop and maintain a therapeutic milieu
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to identify therapeutic training needs of the treatment staff
  • Plan client visits away from the residential unit
  • Coordinate/oversee client phone calls, clothing orders, mail received, and other areas related to personal needs
  • Develop treatment objectives and a quarterly case plan collaboratively with the client, their parents, and referring worker
  • Track information from intake and admission through treatment and into aftercare
  • Assure meeting of requirements of Managed Care Organizations related to case documentation, authorization, and reauthorization
  • At client discharge, coordinate aftercare plans to ensure treatment continuity
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring utilization and outcome data
  • Attend residential team meetings
  • Responsible for quality assurance compliance
  • On a rotating basis, provide weekend on-call availability for all residential programs
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Limited Clinical License (Social Worker, LLPC, LLMSW)
  • Enrollment in MCBAP Development Plan upon hire
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience working with a residential population and experience in staff supervision preferred
  • Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team in a residential treatment setting preferred
  • Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objectives of the agency
