We value strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. This role offers flexibility for onsite, hybrid, or remote work, but candidates must have experience with New York real estate transactions.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of training and experience in New York real estate closings is essential.
- A valid New York Notary License and familiarity with settlement production software are advantageous.
- Proficient in analyzing documents related to standard real estate transactions.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, adhere to deadlines, organize tasks efficiently, and maintain precise records.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee all elements of the closing process and participate in closings.
- Prepare and revise settlement statements and closing disclosures.
- Manage and coordinate closing files, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Reconcile files with lenders and prepare essential closing documents.
- Execute all post-closing tasks, including making payoffs and recording documents.
- Liaise with the Agency Operations Officer regarding workload, client concerns, and production metrics.
