Maintenance Supervisor

FPI Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and mentor our Maintenance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and capital improvement needs of our assigned properties, ensuring the highest level of service to our clients.

• Lead and mentor the Maintenance Team to ensure excellent performance and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement a daily and preventative maintenance program to ensure the most economical and safe condition of the property.
• Inspect the property and common areas daily to detect maintenance problems and coordinate repairs.
• Change air-conditioning filters every six months and upon apartment turnover.
• Inspect apartments semi-annually and follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Serve as on-call maintenance providing evening, weekend, and holiday emergency service.
• Respond to after-hours requests for lockout service and perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments.
• Repair and maintain equipment owned by the apartment community and maintain all maintenance shops and storage rooms in an orderly fashion.
• Properly secure all parts, inventory, and property equipment and maintain an inventory of parts to make necessary repairs.
• Ensure timely completion of all duties by maintenance staff personnel to minimize labor costs.
• Comply with all FPI policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned by the Community Director.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
• High School diploma or equivalency certificate required, industry certification or designation (CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT) preferred.
• Valid Driver's License, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
• Ability to wear a respirator and be medically fit for duty and cleared to wear a respirator, and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
