The coordinator should possess outstanding customer service skills and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities. Teamwork is crucial, as the role involves interaction with multiple departments.

Primary Duties:

The Fresh & Frozen Sales Coordinator will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Developing and managing Customer CRM
    • Collaborate with sales representatives to compile contact information for existing clients and potential prospects.
    • Utilize CRM systems to distribute marketing materials, promotional price lists, and other mass communication efforts.
  • Processing Sales Orders and issuing confirmations.
    • Input all EDI orders.
    • Manage key account program orders.
    • Handle Fresh Atlantic Salmon orders.
    • Facilitate order entry for traveling sales representatives.
  • Managing sample packing and shipping.
    • Revitalize the sample inventory.
    • Oversee material stock levels.
    • Coordinate monthly/quarterly employee sales, donations, or reworking into production to maintain sample freshness.
  • Identifying new business opportunities for the team.
  • Serve as the point of contact for incoming sales inquiries via phone.
Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Seafood or Food Processing, particularly with perishables.

• Strong customer service orientation, both for external customers and internal sales teams.

• Highly organized with effective problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in computer applications - Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, as well as inventory management systems.

• Familiarity with EDI processes.

• Basic math skills and foundational accounting knowledge.

• Ability to manage stress and adapt to changing situations.

• Capable of multitasking effectively.

• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across various departments.

Future Responsibilities:
  • Entry for fresh wild sales
    • Follow up on AWB.
    • Contact for invoicing.
    • Manage purchase orders.
  • Sales management for fresh and frozen products
    • Act as sales representative for select small turnkey accounts.
    • Participate in sales calls both in person and via virtual platforms.
  • Coordinate with the Alaska Plant for fresh products.
  • Develop the skills necessary to train a successor when ready for advancement.
Work Environment:

The position involves working in both an office and plant setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $24.00.
