Key Responsibilities:
- Designs and delivers specialized training on library resources and literature pertinent to specific fields through workshops, group sessions, and classes organized by the library or affiliated entities.
- Creates and coordinates initiatives aimed at familiarizing students in STEM disciplines with library services, resources, and programs.
- Offers personalized instruction and research support to undergraduate students in STEM areas.
- Fosters and maintains positive collaborative relationships with faculty, administrators, and students within academic and associated units for designated subject areas.
- Contributes to the library's online presence by developing accessible content for the library website.
- Compiles and submits reports and statistics related to liaison activities, instructional efforts, outreach programs, and other engagements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains and enhances subject-specific knowledge as well as awareness of trends in academic librarianship, attending professional conferences, workshops, and webinars.
- Engages in library and university committees and task forces relevant to the primary responsibilities of the position.
- Participates in professional development through presentations and publications.
- Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in any discipline, along with:
- A minimum of 12 months of relevant academic experience.

- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and innovate.

- Graduate-level coursework or degree in a science discipline, education, or library and information science.
- Experience in teaching students and faculty in both one-on-one and classroom settings.
- Understanding of the academic library's role in research, teaching, and learning, as well as current trends in scholarly communication and digital scholarship.
- Interest in participating in professional development and scholarly activities.
- Record of successful collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
