Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mobile equipment on plant property, including loaders, haul trucks, and water trucks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of plant work areas and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with plant tasks, including lubrication, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas.
  • Lead a team of production staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Safety First Attitude
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team
  • Ability to work safely and independently without constant supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of learning through on-the-job training
  • Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather
  • In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrain
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an open pit mine
  • Prior experience leading teams would be desirable
  • Experience using plant mobile equipment

Conditions of Employment
