Job Summary:
Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping patients and families achieve their goals and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy to ensure the highest level of care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- Certification in occupational therapy from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
