Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to assist in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures, develop treatment plans, document progress, and prepare treatment areas and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients with respiratory conditions and be able to instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients as they practice exercise and functional activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures
  • Assist in the development of treatment plans
  • Document progress of all treatment rendered
  • Prepare all treatment areas and equipment
  • Perform postural drainage, percussions, and vibrations, and teach deep breathing exercises to treat respiratory conditions
  • Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients as they practice exercise and functional activities
  • Measure patients' range of motion, body parts, and vital signs
