Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at Mark Andy Inc. in Chesterfield, MO. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to update drawings and schematics, ensuring accurate documentation and implementing quality improvements.
  • Inspect components and sub-assemblies for visual defects and damage, and troubleshoot and rebuild customer-owned parts as needed.
  • Support the engineering department in redesigning and building prototype subassemblies for presses.
Requirements
  • 6 months of mechanical experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, communicate effectively, and problem-solve.
  • Work effectively with a team and manage stress and pressure constructively.

Work Environment

Work in a moderate to frequently exposed shop environment, with potential exposure to dust, odors, oils, fumes, chemicals, noise, and moving parts. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
