Key Responsibilities
  1. Receive job assignments and instructions from supervisors or team leaders, utilizing blueprints and work orders to guide your work.
  2. Move parts from the staging area to the assembly area, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing downtime.
  3. Clean and prepare parts for assembly, adhering to quality control standards.
  4. Assemble ovens, rails, stations, frames, hydraulic units, and other components, following instructions and work orders.
  5. Install guards, rails, ovens, and other assemblies, ensuring proper fit and function.
  6. Mount and plumb hydraulic and pneumatic components, requiring attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
  7. Assemble roll stands to work order and print, demonstrating ability to read and follow instructions.
  8. Inspect machines when complete, filling out check sheets and ensuring quality standards are met.
  9. Prepare machines for shipment, dismantling as required, and ensuring a smooth transition to the next stage of production.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  2. Mechanical aptitude and 2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment are preferred.
  3. Ability to read blueprints and basic math skills are essential.
  4. Basic computer skills are preferred, and working knowledge of assorted hand tools, torque wrenches, hand & power drills, motorized hoist, hand grinder, and pipe threader is required.
  5. Able to work an off-shift, if preferred.
Work Environment
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 35 to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting are required.
  • Walk for extended periods and may work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to access and navigate within each department at the organization's facilities.
