Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Providence St. Peter Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, providing accurate information to radiologists, and contributing to the growth and development of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including vascular and abdominal studies, to provide accurate information to radiologists.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve patient care and workflow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medical sonography.
  • National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 2 years of ultrasound experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
