The Senior Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients while conducting various ultrasound examinations, including vascular studies, to provide accurate information for diagnostic interpretation. This role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of the Diagnostic Imaging department by identifying areas for improvement and sharing innovative ideas with management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Engage in departmental growth initiatives and contribute to team development.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical sonography program.
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
- Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
